Hello! I am Ms. Gilchrist or Ms. G! This will be my first year as an educator in IUSD and at Northwood Elementary. I am so excited to be on such a fun and excited team of teachers! I was a student athlete and received my bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Psychology. Later, I went back to school to earn my teaching credential at Concordia University, Irvine. I previously student taught and long-term subbed at Loma Ridge and Oak Creek Elementary. I have worked with kids since becoming a coach and now a Head Coach through Irvine Swim League. I have a strong passion and love for all kids and want to be the person to change their life. My favorite things to do include working out, going out to eat, and enjoying Yogurtland!
